Attenuation Advantage Analysis

The power warranty of single-sided modules is 25 years: 2% attenuation in the first year, and 0.55% attenuation every year;

30-year power warranty for bifacial modules: 2% attenuation in the first year and 0.45% annual attenuation;

Therefore, the double-sided module has a 0.1% annual attenuation advantage compared with the single-sided module. Taking the Shandong 10kW power station as an example, the average power generation in 25 years is 1.3%.

It should be noted that the above table only lists the power generation for 25 years. In fact, the bifacial module can generate electricity for another 5 years, and the theoretical power generation gain will be higher.
